i put some new photographs in the photo section. these were taken with my new zero image pinhole camera, and developed at home in my make-shift darkroom. there will be more added as i go through the negatives and develop more.

phillip hyman has set up another huge art show in the park circle area of north charleston, this one's called "evolution", and involves 5 or 6 venues along east montague, including the mill, evo's, madre rua and the meeting space. i've got a few canvases hanging at the mill. opening night is this saturday, 31 may.

one of my pieces (the food ration stamps print) will be in an upcoming group print show called "A La Carte" at Signed & Numbered in Salt Lake City. opening night is friday, 20 june, and the address is 221 east broadway. if you're in town, stop by to check out food-related prints from about 50 different artists, and say hi to leia while you're there.

I've got a screen print in a coffee themed show at Mug Shots Coffee in Philadelphia (21st and fairmount, across the street from the old jail). i'll be there for the opening night, on thursday, 5 june, at 7 pm. stop by and say hi, and check out the coffee-related prints from artists all over the country. more info about the show can be found here: www.mugshotscoffee.com

i have some of my pinhole photos hanging at a group photography show at Vickery's downtown for the next month. Opening night is this saturday (24 may) from 7-9, so if you're around, stop by for a beer and check out some fantastic photography by a bunch of local artists.

Lots to update since november:

- there are two new pages on the site, "photography" and "recent shows". both can be accessed in the upper bar. anyways, the photography has some black and white photography that i've been messing around with lately. all are about 4" x 4", printed by me in editions of about 5 on a semi-matte photographic paper. most are from a little pinhole camera i built, but some are from a holga 35mm i picked up, and a few are from an old canon rangefinder camera. the recent shows page has pictures from various art shows, plus some other pics i wasn't sure what to do with.

- i've added canvases to the art section, and a few new gigposters have been added to the gigposters section.

i've got two shows coming up that should be pretty fun:

52.5 records (561 king street) screen printed art print show, opening night is 30 november from 7-9 pm, and will stay up for the full month of december.

Lime Blue gallery (62B queen street) art show for the 7 december art walk. this will consist of mostly smaller canvases, focusing mainly on charleston's architecture. a screen printed postcard is in the "recent shows" section.
